To me its a classic flavour pairing that never fails, so when Multipower sent me a tub of their Coffee Caramel 100% Whey Protein and asked me to create a recipe with it, there was only one choice as far as I was concerned. So here it is – my recipe for the Multipower Coffee Walnut Protein Cake.

My ultimate weekend treat is a lie-in and a freshly made cup of the dark stuff – so yes, you can see, that I really do love my coffee. I’ve read a lot about Bulletproof Coffee and seen plenty of people post about it on social media, so when I found out that they were about to launch in the UK I couldn’t wait to give it a try and see what all the fuss was about. So the very kind team at Bulletproof sent me a Starter Kit (comprising of Supercharged Bulletproof Coffee and Upgraded Octane Oil) and I couldn’t wait to see why celebrities like David Beckham, Ed Sheeran and Jessica Biel have been drinking this pimped-up version of my favourite beverage.
Just in case you haven’t heard of it let me explain what Bulletproof Coffee actually is. You brew your filter coffee as normal, using the Supercharged coffee beans, and then blend it with a teaspoon of the Octane Oil (coconut oil which is 18X more concentrated than normal) and a tablespoon of organic, grass fed butter. Whizz it in a blender and you’re done! Not sure how that works? Check out a video of how to make it here. Well, me too until I actually tried it – and there’s a good reason for it too.
