Happy #transformationtuesday with love from the Wildcat! Facebook memories over the past few weeks have been a great way to reminisce over holidays, parties, happy times with friends…. But every now and again they serve me a little reminder of the life I left behind. This came up yesterday – the photo of the left – which is 6 years old (and yes Chelsea FC fans I am posing with Stamford the Lion!)
With Summer (allegedly) just around the corner, have your thoughts turned to how your legs are going to look in shorts, skirts, dresses and maybe even your Summer holiday swimwear? You wouldn’t be alone if so, which is why I have teamed up with natural skincare company Figurite (click to read my Blog post about their amazing products) to create four online workout videos targeting the main areas affected by cellulite – legs, bum thighs and abdominals.
Each video is around 7 minutes long, so when performed together you have a perfect 30 minute lower body workout that can be performed anywhere and requires no equipment! There are options to progress each move as you get stronger and fitter, and if you don’t have 30 minutes to spare you can even use the 7 minute segments on their own, or add them into your own existing gym or workout schedules.
All four videos can be found over on the Wildcat Fitness YouTube channel, but before you head on over, here is a taste of Part 1 of 4 of the Figurite Lower Body Tightening workout – just in time for Summer!
Enjoy your workouts and please let me know what you think and how you find the exercises!
I have just this weekend had the most amazing privilege of taking part in London Fashion Week as a catwalk model for sportswear designer Charli Cohen. I have long been a fan of Charli’s stylish, sexy yet functional sports luxe fitness wear, and so was beyond flattered when she asked me a few weeks back if I would be part of the team to model her Autumn Winter 2015 collection. Charli wanted to showcase her clothes by having fit girls wear them – females who looked like they worked out, not starved themselves. You can read more on Charli’s decision to send fit girls down the runway here:
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my Wildcat clients, class members, friends and followers!
Well done for all your hard work this year – make sure to take some time to relax and enjoy yourself at Christmas – nothing wrong with a little treat or two – just don’t let it become a blowout! Drink lots of water and green tea, eat your vegetables and you can work off the rest in 2015
Lots of festive love, Wildcat xxx
With only 17 days til Christmas you may feel like you’re starting to wind down and that party season is about to take over… But what about your fitness and training? How are you going to deal with the excesses of the next few weeks?
One thing I’m currently super impressed by is the commitment being shown by Wildcat clients and class members to stay on track with their fitness journey during December. My classes are still full and I’ve got 26 client sessions in my diary this week! Such a pleasure to be training you all when you’re so focused on your goals. The true key to success when it comes to your dream body or your goal accomplishments is consistency. Even if your schedule is packed between now and the 25th, find time for even a quick workout – 30 minutes is better than nothing and you’ll feel more energised as a result.
I thought I’d share a real throwback with you all – and that I’ve not always been slim and healthy… And that if anyone can empathise with weight loss and fitness struggles, it’s me.
The two photos on the left are from 2008 and 2009 and show me around two stone heavier than I am now, over three dress sizes bigger, but most of all unhappy and uncomfortable. I’d always pick long tops to skim over my “muffin top” and wore the loosest trousers I could to hide my “thunder thighs”. I had been through a traumatic break up and sought comfort in food – in these days eating a tub of ice cream in one evening was not unusual.
